Moving in safety

What are the solutions capable of promoting at the same time the maximum degree of safety (in the sense of minimizing the opportunities for contagion), the reduction of traffic and the reduction of the environmental impact of means of transport?

The measures to combat the Covid-19 pandemic have led to numerous changes with a direct impact on mobility, from the closure of schools to the use of agile work (in particular by the PA), the imposition of limitations on the shared use of cars, to the reduction the capacity of public transport.

With the reopening of the schools and the possible resumption of most of the activities in the offices, a much greater recourse to the use of personal cars is foreseeable, with a consequent increase in traffic and atmospheric emissions.

It is therefore necessary to respond to this criticality with practical, feasible and innovative solutions, which know how to make use of existing infrastructures and manage to combine mobility as integrated as possible between public transport, own cars and exchange parking lots, micro-mobility and pedestrian mobility.

Solutions based on the territorial context (the metropolitan area of Cagliari), declined in relation to the respective targets and which constitute a strategic and long-term response to the climate changes underway.
