What is the Main Stage?

The Main Stage is a unique event that connects all Climathon events and the EIT Climate-KIC community around the globe. Experts and celebrities will liven up the 24-hour event and show innovative climate change solutions from different angles. Join us on stage or on our live stream!

Open a window to the world

The Main Stage is a real-life and digital space where you can follow what happens during the Climathon. It lets you get to know the key players that are active in solving the city climate challenges of the 24-hour hackathons all over the world and their disruptive ideas.

Discover the Italian venue

For the first time, the Main Stage will be held in Italy, in the city of Turin. It takes place at the Environment Park; a large industrial complex that was home, for a century, to the leading heavy industries and is now being rebuilt using pioneering green building and sustainable architecture technologies.

Behind the Main Stage

The Main Stage is powered by a network of people, from inside and outside EIT Climate-KIC, who strongly believe that moving forward towards a zero-carbon economy is crucial and that it is vital to design innovative solutions to climate change, while engaging citizens all over the world.

Programme

The event lasts for two days and includes talk shows, interviews, inspiring speeches and pitches. Many guests from the fields of entertainment, journalism, gastronomy, research, business and politics will alternate on the stage with two presenters
