The Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (IIE) at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is a central hub for innovators and entrepreneurs in Long Beach. Our programming and services support long-term economic growth that is inclusive and sustainable for our diverse community. The Long Beach Climathon Challenge engages with solutions that will help to meet the objectives set out in the city’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan. The CAAP will provide a framework for creating or updating policies, programs, practices, and incentives for Long Beach residents and businesses to reduce the City's GHG footprint, and ensure the community and physical assets are better protected from the impacts of climate change. Engaging those who live, work, and play in Long Beach is essential to creating an effective and successful CAAP.
