Climathon Zagreb 2020 will be an immersive virtual ideathon. We’ll present you with a vision and tools, and then leave room for your creativity.

Here’s the scenario:

It’s 2050 and things have changed. Climate impact is touching every part of the globe - but you know the climate challenges your community is facing the best. Let’s talk about Zagreb neighborhoods from a future perspective and begin building momentum in the present.

It has been said that the best way to predict the future is to create it, and this is what we’re going to do.

Multidisciplinary teams will come together and apply their skills to literally write (a better) future. What do Zagreb neighborhoods look like in 30 years’ time? What about the urban commute, shopping and education? Tourism, energy, infrastructure and policymaking? Climate issues influence and transform each and every one of these.

Choose your story angle, delve deep into the task at hand and emerge with a newspaper article, magazine editorial or evening news video clip. Let this be an opportunity to get creative and work on issues that matter most. Your vibrant, diverse stories will surely open our minds and help us envision what’s to come!
