Ideathon

16./17.04. 2021

Climathon Graz goes Green Tech Jam 2021 - together for a greener future!

Great ideas - professional implementation & presentation of the solutions - enthusiastic participants & challenge sponsors!

At this year's Green Tech Jam, innovative young talents solved tasks from the green tech industry. The tasks came from our sponsors Komptech, BDI - BioEnergy International, t-matix solutions, MUL Resource Innovation Center, Klima- und Energiefonds and AI.engineer.
36 international students participated and competed in 8 teams for a total of 5.000€ prize money. That diversity pays off was proved again this time - the winning teams were composed of different fields of study and nations. Team Sixpack won with their solution to the task of the University of Leoben "Circular economy meets distributed ledger - A transparent PET bottle product cycle" with their "Think before you drink" app. Second place went to the Knew Generation team, which dealt with Natural Language Processing and solved the AI.engineer task excellently. The third place was won by the KomptechBoys for their innovative app for operators of Komptech machines.
A big thank you to all teams and their great solutions!
