Ideathon for California Central Valley
06 Nov 2020 - 13 Nov 2020
A post-COVID green recovery for Central Valley
California’s Central Valley is one of the richest agricultural areas in the word, supplying over half of the fruits, vegetables, and nuts produced in the US.
Already challenged by water risk, pollution, heat, and poverty, it was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. And recently by smoke from California’s largest wildfires.
The people and farms that feed us are under threat. How can we regenerate and rejuvenate the land and the people?
