Climathon VLC 2022 is a hackathon organized on October 28 and 29 by the City Council of Valencia, through the València Activa foundation. In this event, CHALLENGES that affect problems that the metropolitan area of Valencia and the province of Valencia have, and its objective is to generate open innovation processes, in order to obtain possible solutions to these challenges.

Climathon VLC 2022, is a unique opportunity to make visible the innovative and technological talent of the city of Valencia, in addition to contributing to improve the quality of life of Valencians.

The event will consist of a competition between teams, where the participating talent will provide solutions to the challenge assigned to them, while competing with the rest of the participants.

From València Activa we organize a new edition of the Climathon VLC, a hackathon where participants will have to solve the challenges related to environmental and climate problems that affect globally. The event is part of the Climathon initiative developed by Climate-KIC, it is the reference meeting in the sector at an international level.

The participants, previously selected and organized in teams, will be the ones who investigate and find solutions to the challenges posed in the reduction of C02, mobility and sustainable transport and water treatment. The team that develops the most innovative idea will get an iPad.
