The CATAL1.5°T [ˈkætəlɪst] Initiative’s ambition is to boost investments in promising early-stage climate ventures from the Global South. To ensure long-lasting impact, we also strengthen regional climate innovation ecosystems.
As part of the initiative, we are working with organisations from 10+ countries to implement various Climathons in collaboration with local partners. These events aim to:
- Identify priority areas for local climate action
- Generate innovative solution ideas during the Climathons
- Support the inclusion of women and other marginalised groups within the climate entrepreneurship community
